This is one of my favorites of many. It doesn't really have a leather smell to me. It is a clean earthy smell. I love this scent!! If you want a leather smell then this candle isn't what your looking for. I like it better than a leather candle.

For some reason it's difficult to find black votives, yet black candles are great for a modern and sophisticated look, especially if you have any wrought iron or black accents in your decor already. The scent is not quite what I expected. I imagined a new leather jacket scent, but the other notes that are included do make this smell more like men's cologne than leather. Still nice, though. A good gift for your guy friends who have bachelor pads.
